Barron Associates Successfully Completes Hospital-based Fall Monitor Study

Barron Associates is leveraging innovative, in-house fall-detection technology to develop the body-worn FallCall system. The FallCall system not only detects falls without bothersome false alarms, but can also report patient location automatically to facilitate rapid response and to help identify fall-prone “hot spots”. The recent study performed by Barron Associates combined both laboratory- and hospital patient-based (real-world) components and resulted in no false alarms and no missed detections.
