Barron Associates Launches Multi-site Randomized Control Trial of Dragon Vision Therapy System

The Dragon Vision software system has been developed by Barron Associates, Inc. under the National Eye Institute-sponsored ICARE program as alternative intervention for addressing non-strabismic amblyopia and convergence insufficiency (CI) in children. It uses well-established game development practices to create a fun and engaging vision therapy experience based on a baby dragon quest. In May 2019, enrollment began for the ICARE rater-blinded randomized controlled trial, which involves approximately 100 children ages 4 to 18 from 10 optometric clinics across the United States.
